Harry Potter fans, this one’s for you!
When I heard BARK had created a Harry Potter toy range exclusive to Pets at home, you best believe I got in my car quicker than you can say Expelliarmus.
My whole pack of pooches are BARK mega fans and I always get excited at a new release, especially when the toys are so fun and varied as these ones.
Available online and in store at Pets at home, there’s 5 toys up for grabs, and there is something for every type of play style.
The Golden Snitch dog toy with reinforced woven straps is ideal for tough doggos who love to play tug and fetch while the Dobby crinkle and squeak toy is perfect for excitable pooches like Sugar who love squeaks and textures. She thrashes poor dobby around and nibbles at his crinkly ears and she hasn’t even realised that once she finally rips him to pieces, there’s a surprise toy hidden inside! Sugar has the small size in this toy, but Dobby is also available for larger doggos too!
The Hedwig dog toy is geared towards larger pooches, but Puggy Smalls has well and truly claimed him! Puggy will nibble gently at his crunchy wings and loves curling up with favourite plush own by the fire.
Our other Pug pup, YumYum is partial to the entire range, and I don’t think he has a particular favourite, but I cannot wait for them to realise the sorting hat is particularly magical, and it’s designed to be ripped open revealing a tennis ball, which tells the dogs what Hogwarts House they are in! I’m so excited for them to discover this and cannot wait for them to be a little more destructive!
Lastly, we have Pomegranate, our foxy Pomeranian who has a dark side and loves to dismember her toys. This is when the Aragog crinkle and squeak toy shines as Pommie has so many spider legs to chomp on, and two squeakers to hunt down – because one is never enough for her!
It’s a large toy and I often find them all playing together with it, plus it doubles up as a cosy pillow when they are all exhausted from the non-stop POTTER THEMED play!
