It’s no secret that I’m a sucker for spooky season, and I’m that person who starts decorating from 1st September, so you can imagine how hyped I was to discover some of the best Halloween themed toys I’ve ever seen whilst doing my weekly food shop.
I snapped up three incredibly spooky BARK toys for my pack from Sainsburys. We are long term fans of BARK toys so I knew my four dogs would go crazy for them, and I wasn’t disappointed!
First up we have Cranky Frankie, for small to medium light chewers! Puggy was instantly drawn to this super fun plushie, with a crazy crinkly texture, super squishy and packed with fluff and THREE squeakers! It’s not ideal if us humans want to watch horror films in silence this season, but watching our gang play with this toy for hours is all the Halloween entertainment we need! When all is said and done, he’s a wonderful cuddle companion for our senior boy, Puggy too!
The second I laid eyes on Moldy Barry Bones – I just knew he was the one for Sugar! Although she’s a tiny little sausage, this girlie likes to play rough and this toy is perfect for her!
Just like Sugar, Moldy Barry Bones is small but mighty, perfect for dogs who love to chew and tug. The rope arms and legs pull through his body and combined with the squeaker it drives Sugar wild!
Sugar is known to destroy toys in a matter of minutes, but this one has survived a week with her so far without any damage, so with a bit of luck, their friendship will last until Halloween and beyond!
Lastly, I grabbed Sweet Fang. Perfect for smaller dogs like mine, this whip and flip plush toy is great for thrashing around and of course, cosy snuggles by the fire. Pomegranate is particularly fond of this toy as she is enjoying the longer reinforced fur, which she is slowly shredding as part of her macabre Halloween rituals.
Sweet Fang is perfectly squishy, packed with fluff and a loud squeaker, and the whole pack have enjoyed playing fetch, tug and thrashing around those flappy wings!
