Our fave toy brand, Bark have teamed up with Crufts just in time for the biggest dog show on earth in March to bring us the hottest collab of the year!
Theres a wide variety of toys for your pooch to get their paws on, but we have sniffed out our favourites, and we are dying to spill the tea!
As most of you already know, my pack of four pooches are all very different, whether you’re a rough player like our little Sugar, or more of a cuddler like our senior boy, Puggy, the Crufts X Bark range have something for every dog!
Starting off with our wild one, little Sugar. A 2-year-old daxie rescue mix with a wild side and a taste for destruction! Naturally, this playful pup loves the entire range, but if I had to narrow down her favourite it would have to be the Best in Show ribbon. It’s a relatively big toy, but it works for tiny dogs like Sugar too as its light weight and jam packed with different textures like the thrashable, crinkly ribbons, plush frilly edges and of course a big, loud squeaker that drives her wild with excitement! She plays with this toy for hours and remarkably, still hasn’t destroyed it!
I also had to give an honourable mention to the ‘Best in fetch Throwette disk’ which is one of the best tug toys we have ever played with! If you prefer your toys super durable with no messy fluff, then this rope lined, crinkly wheel of fun is the perfect addition to your pooch’s toy box! Pomegranate is obsessed with it, the durable texture drives her wild and she will dig it, fetch it and tug it all day long!
Next up we have Puggy, our handsome, gentle senior pug who is at the opposite end of the play scale to Sugar. Puggy is soft and slow and loves nothing more than to mouth his toys, nibble them gently and curl up for a snuggle with them. That’s why the “best in throw judge’ won Puggy’s heart. Sure, it’s great for tougher dogs to thrash about with, but our puggy loves to lick, nibble and cosy up with this plush little beaver who has quickly become his best friend.
Its crinkly, packed with fluff and the tail rolls up which is perfect for some gentle enrichment! We simply hide a few of Puggy’s favourite treats in the tail, roll it up and watch him sniff and explore until his hearts content!
Lastly little YumYum, our gorgeous four-year-old pug with boundless energy. Like Sugar, he would pay with any toys, but it’s clear to see he is drawn to the ‘personal Beast Play Timer Toy’. It has all the makings of an excellent dog toy, its durable, with a great squeaker and an interesting crinkly, fluffy texture, but the size of this one makes it the perfect playtime companion for little YumYum. He will chase it, whip it around, bop it, and he adores the tough woven strap which is perfect for tug of war!
