Sunny enrichment with Woopf!
We have been a big fan of Woopf dog products since we discovered them earlier in the year, and our latest haul has come just in time for the summer heat wave!
With hot weather imminent, I’m aware of the dangers in heat stroke, and with fewer walks on the cards to protect my pack from the heat, I wanted to stock up on some high-quality toys that will leave them feeling enriched, cool, satisfied and content!
I’ve mentioned the blocky bone before, and this is still a solid favourite in our house, so I decided to add a few more vet designed toys to add to our ever-growing Woopf collection, to keep my dogs busy, whatever the weather!
Starting with the snacky hive and donut super chew toys. Both bad boys are crafted in the same ultra durable, bouncy, non-toxic rubber. They are freezer proof and dishwasher safe, designed to be stuffed with food and treats to keep your pooches occupied. Whether you have gentle senior dogs like Puggy, Pommie and Grandpa, or wild young ones with a strong bite like Sugar, these toys are incredible and so versatile. On warmer days, I stuff them with yoghurt and fruits and freeze them to give them an ice-cold treat that lasts for hours. They all enjoy is so much, they don’t even miss going for a walkies and I can ensure they are hydrated too!
When all the fun is over, these toys can be popped into the dishwasher, so they are clean and ready for the next garden chew session!
My whole pack love snuffling, especially our little dachshund, Sugar. Her hound instincts kick right in, and she gets so excited when its time to play hide and seek with her snout! So, when I saw the bumblebee snuffle mat, I just had to have it for her to enjoy in the garden. As with all Woopf dog toys, the quality is unrivalled. With plenty of textures and loops for her to explore, including a detachable plushie which squeaks – which was a real pleasant surprise for our little wild one!
Along with the Snuffle mat, I grabbed her a few snuffle balls. She has a few regular options and a very special version that has crackling fabric too, for extra stimulation. These balls work the same as a snuffle mat, allowing your pooch to sniff and snuffle through layers of fabric to discover their treats, but the balls add a little more movement – idea for younger pooches like Shugz who have heaps of energy! Available in two sizes, multiple colour options and the best part is they can be machine washed to keep them fresh from all the dog slobber and treato crumbs!
And finally, I cannot talk about summer without telling you all about the chew proof hammock bed. Available in 3 sizes, waterproof, weatherproof and oh so perfect for summer.
